Advanced Medical GI ( AMGI ) is a  comprehensive gastroenterology practice serving the needs of patients in  the Northern Virginia and DC suburbs. We specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions and diseases affecting the digestive system. Our gastroenterologists, Dr Richard Blosser and Dr Soloman Shah, in combination with Michelle Sealock , PA ,  are medical specialists  who have received advanced training in gastroenterology, which involves the study of the digestive tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. We have provided care for over thirty years in the Northern Virginia region.

Conditions Treated: Gastroenterologists diagnose and treat numerous conditions, including acid reflux, ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), liver diseases (such as hepatitis, cirrhosis), gallbladder diseases, pancreatic disorders, obesity and gastrointestinal cancers.
Multidisciplinary Approach: We work in collaboration with other medical specialties, such as hepatology (liver diseases), liver transplant centers , nutritionists, radiologists, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex digestive conditions. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that AMGI patients receive the most appropriate and effective treatment options.

We provide on-site endoscopic services via the Gastroenterology Center of Virginia , one of the oldest AAAHC - accredited endoscopy centers in the State of Virginia. We provide hospital coverages at HCA Stone Springs Hospital Center and HCA Reston Hospital Center
