Dr. R. Allen Blosser, MD, FAGA
Dr. Richard Blosser started his private GI medical practice in 1993 after finishing his residency and fellowship education at Georgetown University. He attended and graduated in 1988 from Eastern Virginia Medical School after a successful undergraduate career at The University of Virginia.
He has focused his career on advanced endoscopic techniques and has participated in numerous clinical trials over the past three decades in the advancement of gastrointestinal endoscopy. He performs upper endoscopy procedures with multiple therapeutic additions such as Stretta, ESG, TORe, and Orbera balloon placement.
He as well performs colonoscopy and ERCP endoscopic procedures and has successfully performed over 75,000 endoscopic procedures during his career. He has been elected numerous times to the Washingtonian Top Doctors listings and currently holds a Fellowship appointment to the American Gastroenterological Association (FAGA).
Michelle Sealock, PA-C
Michelle Sealock is a nationally certified and state-licensed physician assistant who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal related illnesses, including upper and lower GI complaints as well as liver and pancreatobiliary disorders.
She joined AMGI in July 2020 and works closely with all the physicians in the practice. Prior to joining AMGI, Michelle spent four years in family medicine and ten years in infectious disease. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University in 2004, followed by her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University in 2006.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistant. When Michelle is not caring for patients or spending time with her husband and three children, she enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, playing recreational softball and supporting local sports teams, especially the Washington Nationals
